Education Minister Pant calls agitating teachers for talks

Kathmandu: The newly appointed Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Raghuji Pant, has called agitating teachers for talks.

Issuing a press release, Minister Pant urged the Nepal Teachers Federation to the talks. Teachers have been demonstrating in Kathmandu since April 3 (Chaitra 20), for the immediate promulgation of the School Education Act.

Likewise, the Supreme Court also addressed the demand of teachers and ordered the government to create an environment for teachers to return to school within 3 days.

The Ministry of Education, with Minister Pant, urged teachers to come to the talks.
