Kathmandu: Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre) and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has suggested that the government address the genuine demands of teachers.

He also asked parliamentarians of his party to actively involve themselves in passing the bills, including the Civil Service, in the parliament. In today’s parliamentary party meeting of the CPN (Maoist) on Thursday, Prachanda suggested that the government resolve the problems, saying he has also been holding discussions with teachers, doctors and micro-finance victims, according to Dahal’s private secretariat.

He said that all lawmakers should be active in passing the important bills, including federal civil service and school education. Mentioning that the CPN (Maoist Centre) is getting people’s trust through the Tarai-Madhesh Awareness Campaign, Chairperson Prachanda added that the campaign has also made the party organisation stronger.

Discussion was held on various issues, including the present political development, the government’s style of working, the party’s role and people’s expectation in the meeting.
