Kathmandu: The demonstration of teachers in Kathmandu has entered its 17th day.

The teachers’ capital-centred street demonstration continues even on Friday. The demonstration is becoming more outrageous in recent days, under the Nepal Teachers’ Federation.

The community schools across the nation have been affected by teachers’ demonstrations. Despite the beginning of the new academic session, the admission program has not begun yet. Traffic in the valley is facing a problem in the afternoon.

Teachers began their demonstration from  Maitighar and reached Baneshwor to stage a demonstration.

Teachers have intensified their demonstration, though the cabinet meeting on Tuesday, called to address the demand in the parliament meeting to be held on April 25 (Baishak 12).
