School textbooks supplied to Jumla before new academic year

Kathmandu: A mountainous district in Karnali Province, Jumla, has already gotten the schoolbooks for the new academic year, thanks to timely printing and supply.

The new academic year is beginning on New Year’s Day, 2082. Suman Khadka, proprietor of the Sandhya Stationery at district headquarters, Khalanga, informed that the textbooks for the school had already arrived in the district, ensuring a timely supply of books to the students.

The textbooks for grades 1 to 5 were brought to the district headquarters for the new academic year. Eight schools received books, while some were yet to secure.

As the teachers are in protest and out of the district, only a few schools took the books, Khadka added. The JP Stationery, the Sandhya Stationery, the Darpan Stationery, the Karnali Stationery, and the Dipkailash Stationery in the district have been supplying textbooks to the community schools in the district.

There are a total of 145 community schools in the district, according to the education development and coordination unit.
