RPP to hold general assembly at Balkhu

Kathmandu: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) will be holding a general assembly at Balkhu.

Despite seeking permission to hold an assembly at Bhrikutimandap, the Kathmandu District Administration Office gave options to shift the venue either to Sifal or Balkhu.

RPP Spokesperson Mohan Shrestha said the Bagmati Provincial demonstration and assembly will be held at Balkhu on April 8 (Chaitra 26).

Spokesperson Shrestha said the venue had to be changed after the administration refused to allow Bhrikutimandap due to security reasons.

RPP supporters of the monarchy and the Hindu nation have been demonstrating for the release of its leaders and cadres, who were arrested in the Tinkune incident.
