Kathmandu: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has demanded the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak.
RPP delegation, led by Chairperson Rajendra Lingden, met with Acting Prime Minster Prakash Man Singh and made such demands on Thursday.
RPP Spokeperson Gyanendra Shahi said RPP also demanded suspension of the Police Chief and Administrative leadership, who led the repression on March 28.
Likewise, RPP demanded the formation of an independent investigation committee, including the Human Rights Commission and Civil Society chaired by a former Supreme Court Judge.
They also demanded that Sabin Maharjan and Suresh Rajak be recognised as Martyrs and compensation to be provided.

Similarly, RPP demanded to dismiss a false case and to release RPP leaders Rabindra Mishra, Dr. Dhawal Shumsher Rana and others.
They also demand free treatment and to arrange an effective treatment to injured people.
The pro-monarchy protest organized by monarchists at Tinkune on March 28 turned violent, where Police fired 58 rounds.
