According to the Secretariat of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, the government will provide 1 million rupees each to the families of journalists Suresh Rajak and Sabin Maharjan, who lost their lives in the Tikune incident.

Tinkune incident: Government to provide 1 million rupees to family of deceased ones

Kathmandu: The government has decided to provide 1 million rupees in relief to the families of two individuals who lost their lives in the Tinkune incident. This decision was made during a ministerial-level meeting held at Singha Durbar.

According to the Secretariat of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, the government will provide 1 million rupees each to the families of journalists Suresh Rajak and Sabin Maharjan, who lost their lives in the Tikune incident.

Journalist Suresh Rajak of Avenues Television was found dead in a house that was set on fire during the violent protest on Chaitra 15 (March 28). Maharjan, on the other hand, died after being shot by the police.
