Parliament session to be prorogued from midnight

Kathmandu: President Ramchandra Paudel has prorogued the current session of both houses of the Federal Parliament from midnight.
President Paudel prorogued the current session of both houses of parliament on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers as per Article 93 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers on Monday decided to recommend to the President Paudel to prorogation of the current session of both houses of parliament to be effective from Tuesday’s 12.00 night.
