Kathmandu: The National Assembly (NA) has endorsed all five replacement bills with a majority of votes.
NA Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal said that the session of the upper house of the Federal Parliament on Monday passed the bills.
The Bill to amend certain acts relating to the promotion of good governance and public service delivery, 2081, the Bill to amend some of Nepal Acts related to cooperatives, 2081, the Economic Procedure and Fiscal Responsibility (first amendment), Bill, 2081, the Privatization (first amendment) Bill, 2081 and the Bill to amend certain Nepal Acts relating to Improving the Economic and Business Environment and Promoting the Investment, 2081 were passed following the clause-wise deliberations on them.
These Bills will now be sent to the House of Representatives, the lower house, for further proceedings. The next NA meeting will be held on April 7 at 1:15 p.m.
