Ruling parties demand dismissal of parties responsible for violent protest from HoR meeting

Kathmandu: The ruling parties, in the House of Representatives (HoR) meeting, have demanded to dismiss the parties and lawmakers, who staged a violent protest, from the house session.

Indicating the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) as “Mandale” (i.e., Congregation), the lawmakers of the ruling parties demanded the dismissal of the lawmakers, who staged violent protests, from the meeting.

After the opposition party lawmakers obstructed the meeting by demanding a reply from the Prime Minister (PM), the ruling lawmakers demanded to expel the MPs who were involved in the pro-monarchy protests.

Then, the ruling CPN (UML) and the Nepali Congress (NC) demanded to run the meeting to discuss the issue of violent demonstration.

Likewise, the HoR meeting has been adjourned for 15 minutes after the lawmakers from the opposition party continued to obstruct the meeting, demanding the PM to address the house regarding the dismissal of Kulman Ghising from his designation.
