4 Nepali pilgrims died in road mishap in India

Kathmandu: 4 people from Tulasipur in Dang district have died in a road accident in India while on a pilgrimage to various holy places.

The accident took place when a jeep (UP 31 AC 7200) met with an accident at Baharaich of India on Thursday evening in the course of heading towards India from Tulasipur for a pilgrimage.

Ward chairperson Ram Bahadur GC said the deceased have been identified as jeep driver 37-year-old Yubraj Chapagain of Parseni in Tulasipur sub-metropolis-7 and Jit Bahadur Oli of the same ward.

However, the identities of the other two deceased have not been ascertained yet. Nine people were travelling in the jeep, and all of them were from Tulasipur. 5 other passengers were injured in the incident, and they are undergoing treatment in India.
