Gold price peaks highest so far, reaches Rs 176,200 per tola

Kathmandu: The price of gold has reached the highest point so far in the domestic market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of the yellow metal, which was Rs 174,800 per tola (11.66 grammes) on Thursday, increased by Rs 1,400 today (Friday) to reach Rs 176,200.

Gold is being traded at Rs 3073 US dollars per ounce in the international market today. Similarly, the price of silver increased by Rs 20 per tola today and reached Rs 2,040 in the domestic market.
