Kathmandu: Yemen’s Houthi group has taken responsibility for an intercepted missile attack on Israel.

The BBC cited the Group’s Military Spokesperson’s televised statement as saying the ballistic missile was fired at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv.

Likewise, the Israeli Defense Force said sirens were sounded in several areas of Israel, but no injuries have been reported.

Earlier, according to Gaza’s Hamas-run Civil Defence Agency Spokesperson, around 10 people died and dozens of people were injured in an Israeli attack on Thursday morning. The air strike targeted 6 houses east of Khan Younis.

Israel extended its ground operations in Gaza. The Hamas’s Health ministry said more than 430 people lost their lives in the past two days after Israel launched an extensive air strike in Gaza.
