Prachanda: Government’s mismanagement has increased public disillusionment with the system

Kathmandu: Opposition party CPN (Maoist)’s Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ has stated that due to the government’s misconduct, people’s disillusionment with the system is increasing.

Delivering a special address in the parliament on Tuesday, Chairperson Dahal commented upon the misconduct of the government. ‘The government’s mismanagement, irrational decisions, and failures have led to growing public disillusionment with the system,’ said Chairperson Dahal.

Prachanda emphasized that the time has come to fight against the government’s wrongdoings and to defend democracy against reactionary conspiracies. There are dreams of wielding the sword of regression and counter-revolution against the achievements gained through the glorious sacrifices of various historical periods. Efforts are being made to overturn the hard-won accomplishments of the people’s long struggle. We must fight the battle for democracy against the government’s wrongdoings and resist the regressive conspiracies,’ he asserted.

He said before the past eight months, there was no significant dissatisfaction in the country, but due to the government’s actions, public discontent has been rising.
