Cherry flowers have densely bloomed in Bhrikutimandap. The flowers have colored vthe arious roads of Kathmandu.

Kathmandu: With the approaching Spring Season, the blooming of Cherry has been enhancing the beauty of Kathmandu valley.

The scientific name of the flower is Prunus avium. The flower seems to be welcoming the Spring Season. Cherry flowers have densely bloomed in Bhrikutimandap. The flowers have colored the various roads of Kathmandu.

In the Japanese language, these flowers are named ‘Shakura’, and in the Nepali language ‘Paimyu and Aru’. The flower also has a special significance in the Japanese culture.

Likewise, it is a type of fruit-bearing tree. The beauty of blooming flowers seems like casting a spell over the environment, human beings, and creatures. Its fragrance succeeds in mesmerizing everyone. Even bees and swarms are fond of driving nectar from it.

Currently, youths are engaged in taking selfies with the beautiful flowers.  The beauty of flowers enhances Kathmandu as natural beauty.
