President Paudel briefed about health condition of Finance Minister Paudel and Mayor Acharya

Kathmandu: President Ram Chandra Paudel has been briefed about the health condition of Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel, who is receiving treatment at Burn Hospital, Kirtipur.

Finance Minister Paudel and Pokhara Mayor Dhanraj Acharya were injured in, when balloons exploded during the inauguration of Visit Pokhara Year 2025 on Saturday.

They were taken to Burn Hospital for treatment. President’s Office said President Paudel reached the hospital on Sunday, to receive a health update from Finance Minister Paudel and Mayor Acharya.

Likewise, Health Secretary Dr. Roshan Pokharel and Hari Prasad Mainali and hospital Director Kiran Kishore Nakarmi informed the health condition and treatment process of Minister Paudel and Mayor Acharya to President Paudel.

During the official inauguration of Visit Pokhara Year 2025, after switching lights to ignite the panas, the balloon exploded, during the attempt to release balloons.

The doctor said Finance Minister Paudel’s face was burnt 5-6 %.
