Babarmahal waterlogged incident: Clearing debris at Forestry Complex (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu: The debris at the Foresty Complex, brought by the bursting of the pipe at Babarmahal, has been cleared.

Workers started clearing the debris at the Complex. The sudden water from the pipe flooded the complex. After clearing the water, the sediments turned the floor muddy and slippery.

The area around the District Court, Kathmandu was submerged after the main pipe of Melamchi drinking water burst on Wednesday.

Most of the government offices, located at Babarmahal, faced waterlogged after the pipe busted. The ground floor of the offices was badly affected by the sudden flow of water.

NEA issued a press release on Wednesday, explaining the incident. The authority stated about bearing the cost for the repair and maintenance of the pipe.
