Earlier, a 25-year-old woman, Babita Kumari Yadav from Haripurwa Municipality-5, Sarlahi, who underwent gallbladder surgery at the same hospital, was unconscious even after a long time. She is currently undergoing treatment at Janaki Healthcare Hospital in Janakpurdham.

This was Chief Minister Singh’s inspection of the Muskan Hospital. The Chief Minister didnt meet with the head of the hospital management. Then, he returned without any interaction.

On his second visit at 10:30 PM, Chief Minister Singh questioned the hospital management about the standards, availability of doctors, healthcare workers, and physical infrastructure required for hospital operation. He also reviewed the necessary documents related to the hospital’s approval and authorization.

Upon discovering that the hospital was operating without government approval and lacked adequate human resources and physical infrastructure, CM Singh took immediate action.

‘I have directed that the patients be immediately transferred to other appropriate hospitals with complete documentation, and the hospital should be locked by  Saturday, and to hand over the keys to the government,’ he stated. He gave an ultimatum of shutting down the hospital by 11 AM.

Despite repeated warnings from the Madhesh Province Government, several privately run hospitals operating without approval have continued to defy the regulations.
