Hamas to release 6 more hostages

Kathmandu: Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced Hamas releasing 6 hostages and Israel allowing Gazans to return home.

The BBC cited Prime Minister Netanyahu as saying Hamas to release six hostages this week and Israel to allow Gazans to return homes in the north from Monday.

Arbel Yehud is one of the hostages to be released. Israel delayed the return of Gazans to northern Gaza as Yehud was the center of the conflict. Hamas released four soldiers on Saturday, but not Yehud.

Israel also accused Hamas of breaching the ceasefire deal. According to the deal, Hamas needed to free Israeli civilians first, and then Palestinian prisoners would be released.

Just after the ceasefire came into effect, more than 200 prisoners and 7 hostages have been released.
