Kathmandu: The death toll in the train accident, which occurred in the Jalgaon district of Maharashtra, India, has reached 13.

According to the report of Aaj Tak, the death toll was 12, but the number increased by one on Thursday.

Maharashtra’s media reported that four Nepalis were killed in the accident. However, so far, official confirmation of the deaths of only three Nepalis.

The Nepalis, who lost their lives are identified as Nandaram Bishwakarma (10 years old), Lachhiram Pasi (20), and Kamala Bhandari (43) according to Indian media reports.

At least 39 people were injured in the accident.
