Gold price increases by Rs 1,100 per tola

Kathmandu: The increase in the price of gold in the international market has an impact in the local market in Nepal.
The price of gold increased by Rs 1,100 per tola (11.66 grams) on Tuesday, as compared to Monday.
The Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association fixed the price of gold at Rs 158,100 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 157,000 per tola on Monday.
Similarly, the price of silver has increased by Rs 15 per tola today. It is being traded at Rs 1,875 per tola against Rs 1,860 on Monday.
The price of gold is 2,727.76 US dollars per ounce in the international market today.
