Kathmandu: A Nepali student Bipin Joshi who is under Hamas hostage, will not be released in the first phase of the ceasefire.
Israel has unveiled a list of 33 hostages to be released in the first phase of the ceasefire, in which Joshi’s name was not mentioned.
Joshi an agricultural science student of Sudurpaschim University, with other students went to Israel under the ‘Learn and Earn’ program. He was working in an agriculture farm near Gazas’ border.
10 Nepali students, out of 17 who were working on an agriculture farm, died in a Hamas attack, whereas 4 were injured and Joshi went contactless. The other 2 were safe.
Likewise, Nepali students who were rescued and brought to Nepal said that Joshi saved them by throwing a Hamas grenade. But, after Hamas took Joshi with them.
