Kathmandu: The death toll from an earthquake in China, has increased to 126.

According to the BBC, as per the latest data, 188 people were injured in the earthquake.

President Xi Jinping directed all kinds of rescue efforts to save lives and reduce casualties.

Tibet Earthquake Update: Death toll reaches 95, 130 injured

A large-scale rescue operation was launched, with survivors under additional pressure as temperatures were predicted to fall as low as -16C (3.2F) overnight.

General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Jinping gave an important direction and directed to make efforts in search, and rescue operations and treatment of the injured.
