Tremor jolts Kathmandu

Kathmandu: An earthquake has jolted Kathmandu.

The quake jolted Kathmandu at 6:50 am on Tuesday.

The tremor caused panic among the people of the earthquake early in the morning. People are outside their residences and in open spaces.

The quake was also experienced in the country’s eastern areas, including Biratnagar. Also, the quake jolted Dhading, Sindhupalchowk, Kavrepalanchowk, Makwanpur, and Bara.

According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, the epicenter of the 7.0 magnitude earthquake was in Dinggye County, Tibet, China.

Its epicenter was close to Sankhuwasabha district. Nepal has been experiencing earthquakes in recent days. An earthquake jolted Mugu and Manag on the 3rd of January (Poush 19).
