Kathmandu: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Balendra Shah “Balen” has said two-thirds of the government didn’t perform any work.
Addressing the first Koteshwor Festival on Friday, Mayor Shah commented upon the work of the government.
‘Tinkune’s compensation has not been received even after 50 years. Despite the waiting, there is no sign of receiving compensation. The current majority of the government is two-thirds. However, nothing has been accomplished,’ said Mayor Shah.
Mayor Shah said, ‘Has any leaders come and gave assurance? Don’t believe if they say that compensation is in process. No work has been done. In a sense, this is a personal land looted by the government.’
He said that the government could accomplish the work at any time if desired. ‘If the government does not work this time, it will never get accomplished,’ said Mayor Shah.
