Sudurpaschim Royals defeat Karnali Yaks by 6 wickets

Kathmandu: Sudurpashim Royals have defeated Karnali Yaks in the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

Sudurpaschim Royals defeated Karnali Yaks by 6 wickets. The team chased the target of 102 runs in 15.2, losing 4 wickets.

Ishan Pandey was unbeaten at 38 runs and Captain Dipendra Singh Airee scored 38 runs for the Sudurpaschim Royals.

Captain Sompal Kami, Bipin Sharma and Nandan Yadav took 1 wicket each for Karnali Yaks.

In the first innings,  Karnali Yaks scored 101 runs in 20 overs, losing all the wickets at T.U. International Cricket Ground.

Zeeshan Maqsood scored 30 runs, William Bosisto contributed 16 runs and Babar Hayat 13 runs for the Karnali Yaks.

Harmeet Singh took 3 wickets for Sudurpaschim Royals. Captain Dipendra Singh Airee and  Scott Kuggeleijn took 2 wickets each and Saif Zaib took 1 wicket for the team.

With this, the 4 teams i.e. Sudurpaschim Royals, Janakpur Bolts, Chitwan Rhinos and Karnali Yaks,  to qualify for the play-off have been finalized.
