Kathmandu: Biratnagar Kings have registered their second victory in the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
Biratnagar Kings defeated Chitwan Rhinos by 51 runs at T.U International Cricket Ground on Friday.
Chitwan Rhinos failed to chase a target of 182 runs. The team scored 130 runs in 20 overs with a loss of 6 wickets.
Amar Routela scored 42 runs for Chitwan Rhinos. Santosh Karki contributed 28, Kushal Malla 25, and Ravi Bopara 20 runs for the Chitwan Rhinos.
Captain Sandeep Lamichhane took 2 wickets for the Biratnagar Kings. Chris Sole, Basir Ahama, Subash Bhandari, and Lokesh Bam took 1 wicket each for the team.
In the first innings, Biratnagar Kings scored 181 runs in 20 overs losing 5 wickets.
Basir Ahamand made a half-century. He was unbeaten at 68 runs. Ahamand smashed four boundaries and 4 sixes out of 44 balls for Biratnagar Kings.
Rajesh Pulami was also unbeaten at 33 runs. Martin Guptill scored 45 runs for the team.
Rijan Dhakal took 2 wickets for the Chitwan Rhinos. Captain Kushal Malla, Sohail Tanvir, and Basil Hameed took 1 wicket each for the team.
Now, Pokhara Avengers will face Kathmandu Gurkhas and Chitwan Rhinos will compete against Janakpur Bolts on Saturday.
