Vote counting in Kirtipur's 5 wards concludes

Kathmandu: The vote counting in 5 wards of Kirtipur Municipality has concluded.

Nepali Congress (NC) is leading with the completion of the vote counting in Wards 1, 2,3,4, and 5. According to the latest result, NC candidate Krishna Man Dangol is leading with a total of 2,930 votes.

CPN (UML) candidate Surendra Manandhar is in the second position with 2,384 votes.

Likewise, CPN (Maoist Centre) candidate Shiv Sharan Maharjan is in 3rd position with 2,083 votes. Independent candidate Rajman Maharjan is in 4th position with 1,113 votes.

Similarly, another Independent candidate Dinesh Kumar Adhikari got 917 votes and Kavi Kumar Maharjan got 708 votes.

A total of 20,346 votes were cast in Kirtipur. Till now 11, 331 votes have been counted.
