Rabi and Chhabilal presented in Kaski Court for extending remand

Kathmandu: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane, who was arrested for misappropriating cooperative funds, has been presented in Kaski District Court.

According to a police source, Lamichhane was presented in court as soon as the office opened. Similarly, former DIG Chhabilal Joshi was also presented in Kaski District Court.

Lamichhane was arrested on Friday in Kathmandu. The Court extended his remand for 6 days.

An investigation has begun against Rabi, for embezzling the savings of the Pokhara Surya Darshan Saving and Loan Cooperative. And using it in Gorkhapatra Media Pvt. Ltd.

Lamichhane is the former Managing Director of Gorkha Media.
