PM Oli: Not only action will be taken against Cooperative frauds but also savings will be refunded

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has clarified that action would be taken against the corrupt, regardless of the time frame in which corruption has occurred.

Unveiling the major achievements of the government in its first 100 days of tenure, PM Oli said the government has begun taking legal action against those who embezzled savings of cooperative and committed fraud.

‘Action has been taken against more than 600 people till now, and more than 575 are in prison. Not only action will be taken against Cooperative Frauds, but also people’s savings will be refunded. For the justice of depositors, the work of drafting the Cooperative Authority Act and establishing the Cooperative Credit Information Center and Debt Recovery Tribunal are going parallelly,’ said PM Oli.
