NSP Legislative Convention: Delegates suggest on keeping Naya Shakti’s name and flag

Kathmandu: Dr Baburam Bhattarai- led Nepal Samajwadi Party (NSP)’s legislative convention is going on in Pokhara.

The delegates in the convention, which began on Monday, held group discussions forming groups of 10 members. They presented their conclusion drawn from the discussion in the closed session.

After the group discussion, they proposed to move the party from Naya Shakti’s point of departure.

‘Proposals received from many groups conclude that the party should move forward from Naya Shakti’s point of departure,’ said NSP Spokesperson Krishna Sharma.

Likewise, it proposed to keep Naya Shakti’s name and flag. ‘Delegates proposed to keep Naya Shakti’s name and flag in the party, discussion will be held on the matter’ said Spokesperson Sharma.

Delegates proposed that the party must move forward by uniting and polarizing with new parties, having the same principles and ideas. However, the representatives proposed not to unite with old parties.
