Court’s permit to keep Lamichhane in custody for 6 days

Kathmandu: The Court has issued an order to keep the Former Home Minister and Rastriya Swatnatra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane, who was arrested in a cooperative fraud case, in custody for 6 days for investigation.

Court Information Officer Suraj Adhikari said that bench of Judge Navraj Dahal of District Court, Kaski permitted police to keep Lamichhane in custody for 6days and investigate the matter with effect from last Friday.

After the court’s permission, Lamichhane will stay in custody. Lamichhane was arrested in a case of misappropriation of Pokhara’s Surya Darshan Cooperative Fund .
