Flood- damaged Kabeli Corridor Transmission Line to be operate before Tihar

Kathmandu: The reconstruction of Kabeli Corridor 132 KV Double Circuit Transmission line has been going on, which was damaged by the flood in Maikhola, Illam.

20 private sector hydropower connected to the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) and Kabeli Corridor transmission line are jointly working in the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the transmission line. The work of reconstruction and rehabilitation of the transmission line is being done to be completed before Tihar.

NEA provided necessary materials including transmission lines spare parts. Private sector hydropower projects bearing expenses of workers’ costs, for which each project has contributed a certain amount.
