Man killed in tiger attack

Kathmandu: A man has been killed by a tiger in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East).

Police identified the deceased as Jeeva Bahadur Thing (63 years old) of Laxmitandi, Binayi Triveni rural municipality-1. Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East), JC Shah said Thing came under the tiger’s attack when he had gone to mow grass in the Tinchuli buffer zone community forest.

SP Shah said Thing was found dead when a search was mounted for him after getting the information that he came under a tiger attack while going to cut grass with neighbours. The body has been taken to the Madhyabindu District Hospital Danda for a post-mortem examination.
