NDRRMA: Possibility of heavy rainfall till October 4

Kathmandu: The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) has requested people to be cautious while traveling, due to the possibility of heavy rainfall in Bagmati and Koshi provinces till October 4 (Asoj 18).

NDRC issued a notice and said,’ As the heavy rainfall from September 26 (Asoj 10) made the land muddy in various places, there is still a risk of landslide and sudden flooding in the river even if there is a small amount of rainfall.’

The authority warned the people to be cautious while traveling and to stop at a safe place when it rains heavily.
