PM Oli’s response to question on preparedness: Was it said where landslide will go?

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has made irresponsible statements about the current disaster.

The media person asked PM Oli about the preparedness for a 3-day disaster on Monday, who returned after attending the 79th United Nations General Assembly.

In reply to a media question PM Oli made such statements. ‘Red alert was issued, but was it said where the landslide would go? That was not being said, that will be known later’ said PM Oli.

He further said ‘I had no idea that there would be so much flooding in Kathmandu, there was an alert, we have to look at these things objectively’.
