NRB launches exchange service of clean notes for Dashain (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has started the facility of exchanging clean notes for the public. NRB, targeting the festive season, fixed the place and time for the exchange the clean notes.

According to the bank, the notes could be exchanged in Nepal Rastra Bank’s Banking Department and Currency Management Department, Banking Department, and Provincial Office in Biratnagar, Janakpur, Birjung, Pokhara, Siddharthanagar, Nepalgunj, and Dhangadi. The note can be exchanged from September 29 (Asoj 13) till October 8 (Asoj 22).

People can exchange clean notes in nearby banks and financial institutions. But, there is no crowd like it used to be while distributing new notes.
