Advance ticket booking for Dashain commences (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu: The government has opened an advance ticket booking for the upcoming festivals.

The government opened advance ticket bookings on Saturday. The arrangement has been made to smoothen the departure of the people, who are residing in Kathmandu for study, business, and employment, to their home for celebrating the festival.

After the opening of advanced ticket booking, a huge crowd of people gathered to book tickets in the New Buspark, on Sunday.

People have gathered to book their tickets for Dharchula, Dadledhura, Dhangadhi, Tikapur, Bajhang, Bajura, Salyan, Rukum, Pyuthan, Rolpa, Taplejung, Illam, Kakarbhitta and Udaipur.

Likewise, around 1.8 million to 2 million (18 to 20 lakh) people will leave the valley to celebrate Dashain this year.
