Kathmandu: The identification of 10 people who died in flood caused by incessant rainfall, have been revealed.
Till now 11 people died in the flood in Kathmandu. According to District Police Range Kathmandu SP Nawaraj Adhikari said the identification of 10 people were identified.
The identified are Bhavindra Limbu (43 years old) of Dakshinkali Municipality-8, Kumar Tamang (40), Manu Tamang (23), Prem Balali (37) of Dakshinkali-9 Talku, Kancha Balami (34) and Devi Limbu (50) of Dakshinkali -7.
SP Adhikari said Ajaya Pandey (24) of Agrhakhanchi, currently residing in Kritipur, Sachin Shah (40) of Saptari currently residing Ichangunarayan, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-6, Garva Tamang( 38) of Chandragiri Municipality-2 his wife Sabina Tamang (36) died in the flood.
However, the identification of the people died in Kalimati flood haven’t been identified.
The police are continuing the rescue operation in coordination with local bodies. Till now more than 1000 people are being rescued. Armed Police Force requested to contact the hotline number 1114 for emergency rescue.
