Office of Attorney General decides to go to Supreme Court against Sandeep Lamichhane

Kathmandu: The office of the Attorney General (OAC) has decided to appeal to the Supreme Court against cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane.

The OAC decided to appeal against the acquittal given by the Patan High Court in the rape case. After the publicizing of the full text of the judgment of the High Court, High Public Prosecutor Office, Patan opined that an appeal should be made against the decision.

OAC source said that the decision was made according to the appeal. However, Gaushal 26, gave an appeal to the High Public Prosecutor not to move the rape case forward.
