Dharahara to be open for public tomorrow

Kathmandu: The Dharahara will be opened to the public on Thursday, on the occasion of Constitution Day.

The cabinet meeting held on 12 September (Bhadra 27), decided to operate Dharahara on an interim basis from 19 September (Ashoj 3). The Ministry of Urban had directed the project of the Central Project Implementation Unit, to arrange for people to climb the Dharahara.

PM Oli inaugurated Dharahara on April 24, 2021 (Baishak 11, 2078), and will be inaugurated again on Thursday, after extending the deadline 6 times.
