House of Representatives Meeting postponed

Kathmandu: The House of Representatives (HoR) meeting has been postponed.

The meeting was scheduled for 3:15 p.m. on Sunday, but, the meeting was postponed. Now, the meeting will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.

A dispute, over the use of the term ‘violence’, is going on between the ruling party CPN (UML) and the opposition party CPN (Maoist Centre). Due to this the meeting could not be held at the scheduled time.

There was a to-and-fro discussion between the CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist Centre) in the meeting held on September 13 (Bhadra 28). Then, Speaker Devraj Ghimire postponed the meeting.
