Prachanda: Constitution will be attacked if CPN (Maoist Centre) becomes weak

Kathmandu:  CPN(Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said there is no alternative to strengthening and uniting the party.

Addressing the Party’s Madhesh Province Consultation meeting on Tuesday, Prachanda commented on strengthening the party.  He said that transformation was possible, but it did not have an alternative.

‘If the CPN(Maoist Centre) becomes weak, the cases of change will reverse, and the constitution will be attacked. There is no alternative to move forward with unity to save the changes,’ said Prachanda.

Similarly, Chair Dahal said that he would move forward with the program of party reformation and mass mobilization. He said he is thinking of strengthening the party and carrying out the nationwide demonstration protest against corruption.

‘You all saw it, the government is changed when trying to do something against corruption. We began some new work when we were leading the government. The land mafias were sacred from the campaign we began in favor of good governance and against corruption. Those, who were trying to transfer the government-owned lands in the name of a person, panicked, ‘ said Prachanda.
