Police arrest 2 people in charge of chanting slogans against PM Oli and NC President Deuba at Tundikhel

Kathmandu: Police have arrested 2 persons in charge of chanting slogans against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Police arrested Gopi Raj Jaisi of Surkhet and Ram Bahadur Budha of Accham, in charge of attempting to disrupt the program by chanting slogans in a Gaura festival program held in Tundikhel on Monday.

District Police Range, Kathmandu said they detained Jaisi and Budha on Tuesday, for an interrogation.

SP Nawaraj Adhikari said, ‘They have been detained for an investigation. A decision will be made today on whether the case will proceed or not.’
