PM Oli assures of amending constitution either in unity or else not amending

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said the parties must jointly amend the constitution amendment.

Answering the queries of lawmakers at the parliament meeting on Thursday, PM Oli commented upon the constitution amendment.

CPN (Maoist Centre) lawmaker Narayani Sharma raised the question about the government’s need to show the courage to amend the constitution in favor of the people. To which, PM Oli said, ‘Everyone should dare to amend the constitution, it’s not like someone dares and someone just sees.’

The Prime Minister said,’The constitution will be amended as per the experience of implementation of the constitution up to 8 years and the needs of the country. There is a need to be bold when required, no need to be bold in unnecessary matters. The Constitution is to be amended in favor of economic, prosperity, good governance, and equality. If it needs to be done then let’s all do it, if it doesn’t need to be done then no one will do it.’
