Rabi Lamichhane: 5 year statute limitation not acceptable in corruption case

Kathmandu: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane has said that 5 year statute limitation period in the case of corruption will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Speaking at the meeting of parliament on Thursday, Lamichhane said he has been getting calls from youths, who have been asking not to keep a 5-year statute limitation in corruption cases.

Chairperson Lamichhane said RSP is not in favor of limitations on the issue of corruption. He opined that it was an optimistic move of the youths to make the parliamentarians aware of the country.

He shared his belief that the entire house would stand united against the statue.
