Oli tanker hits motorbike at Saptari

Kathmandu: 2 people have died when an oil tanker hit a motorbike at Baramzhia, Kanchanrup Municipality-3, Saptari under the East-West Highway.

Police said motorbike driver Mahesh Kumar Mahate aged around (41 years old) of Harinagar Rural Municipality-3, Gautampur, Sunsari and pillion rider Jaya Prakash Mahate (40 ) of the same place died in the accident on Friday.

Likewise, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dhundiraj Neupane said that Mahesh died on the spot, whereas injured Jaya Prakash died while being taken to Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital, Rajbiraj for further treatment, after initial treatment at Dharmeshwar Hospital, Kanchanrup-12.

Oil tanker no 1 Kha 7414 of Nepal Oil Corporation heading to the east hit motorbike no 1-02047 PA 1280 coming from the west.

Tanker driver Mithlesh Yadav aged around (32) of Karzana Municipality-3, Siraha injured in the accident. Police said that Yadav’s treatment is going on at Dharmeshwar Hospital.
