Thailand’s Constitutional Court dismiss PM Srettha Thavisin

Kathmandu: Thailand’s Constitutional Court has dismissed Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin.

The Constitutional Court dismissed PM Thavisin on Wednesday, for violating the constitution regarding the appointment of Minister.

There was a political dispute in the ruling coalition over appointing prisoner as Minister. Thavisin becomes 4th Thai PM to be dismissed by the  Court decision.

According to Reuters, 4 out of 5 judges decided to dismiss PM Thavisin, for failing to fulfil duties ethically. 40 Senate demanding the dismissal of PM Thavisin had filed a court case.
