DHM: Incessant rainfall for 2 days; High-alert issued in Kathmandu valley and 37 districts

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM), heavy and moderate rains will continue for 2 days from eastern Nepal to the far west.

Kathmandu: The rain will continue for the next 2 days, due to the low-pressure effect of monsoon.

There is the possibility of heavy rainfall and moderate rainfall across the country on Tuesday and Wednesday, because of the low-pressure line of monsoon.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM), heavy and moderate rains will continue for 2 days from eastern Nepal to the far west. The department has requested everyone to be cautious because of more rainfall in some districts.

The department issuing bulletin suggested to be prepared in rescue operation against natural disaster. There is the possibility of heavy rainfall a Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, Sudurpaschim and Madhesh.

Likewise, very heavy rainfall is expected in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and in some places. There is a high risk of floods and landslides in 36 districts.

Similarly, 37 districts have been alerted for preparedness, due to the risk of floods and landslides.
