Incessant rainfall affects flight operation TIA

Kathmandu: The incessant rainfall has affected the flight operation at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

There is a problem with the flight operation due to the low visibility. The continuous heavy rainfall has decreased visibility. The TIA said there has been a problem with the flight and landing, due to the continuous rain since Monday night.

Some airplanes have been holding onto the sky, and some have been diverted due to bad weather. The flight timings have been delayed.

Likewise, Turkistan Air, which came to Kathmandu via Istanbul, has been diverted due to the bad weather. Fly Dubai and Duke Air were held up in the sky for a while, due to difficulty in landing.
